What will you learn
Adult swimming lessons for beginners will focus on the basic techniques, which are fundamental in performing and perfecting the more complicated swimming strokes. These basics include blowing bubbles, floating, kicking, arm positioning, and most importantly, executing a perfect combination of all these basic techniques. These are fundamental lessons before learning the usual swimming strokes like Breast stroke, Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly. Moreover, students will learn how to thread water in the deep pool, a skill which is a potential lifesaver.
How Long will it take to learn?
The duration of adult swimming lessons will depend on the individual. Some can take as fast as 3 to 4 lessons whereas others might take longer like a few months to learn a swimming stroke.
What are the Fees / Duration / Venue
Swimming lessons for group classes are held in public swimming complex only. There will be a maximum of 8-10 students in the class and lessons will run once a week for 1 hour each.
Private lessons are also held in public swimming complexes but can also be arranged in private housing and condo. Duration of the lessons will depend on the age and type of student. Cheaper rates (per student basis) are available for private lessons with 4 students and above.
